About Us
Before I introduce myself I would like to thank each and every one of you for taking the time to view our website. This has not only been a wonderful endeavor for myself but for my family as well.
My name is Nick (the designer of this web-site). By trait I am a Catastrophe Adjuster or Storm Chaser and do some work for Allstate and Farmers. Yes, I worked the latest hurricanes Katrina, Rita & Wilma, with being away from home for the majority of the time but doing what I thought needed to be done by helping others less fortunate. With that being said, it was a necessary for me to “down scale” my job as a Cat Adjuster…so I can have more time with the family so I opened 911PC!
The one thing I love about our business is that I can accommodate just about everyone’s particular needs. I take great pride and stand behind all we have to offer you by giving you quality services at affordable prices and not to mention convenience, you don’t have to leave your house and be lugging that PC around.
I get my experience from way back in High School when I took an elective called Computer Literature and starting writing simple programs in DOS, the backbone of Windows. Since then I always found myself in neck deep in computers, taking them apart wondering what makes them tick and why? Editing software to meet my wants & needs. Nowadays I’m known as the computer dude or the computer guru that everyone calls for computer advice or problems. In every job I’ve had to date, the company I worked for always used me as a duel employee, what I mean is on top of doing my normal duties I was hired for they also had me diagnose and repair computers onsite where ever I was working helping fellow coworkers with their computer issues. Heck I was promoted a manager just for my background in computer knowledge alone……….mmmmmm lets see, less work and more of something I am truly passionate about and getting paid the same. That’s a no brainer.
On a personal note : I’ve never bought a retail computer in my life, I’ve always built mine from scratch. My daughters, my wife’s, mine, our Media Center Pc (which is so cool on the plasma) and lots more for friends and family. My Personal Custom Built PC is outfitted for gaming and web site building and consist of a AM3 – AMD X4 9950 Black Edition (unlocked for overclocking) Quad core processor running @ 3.2Ghz each, a 1.5 terabyte hard drive reading a hot 300Mbs, 8 gigabytes (4x2Gb) of DDR2 8500 1066Mhz Dual Channel Memory. 1 – DVD/CD dual layer burner, 1 – ATI HD 5750 PCie video card with duel monitor capabilities just for those programs that I like to use for editing photos, videos, websites or just plain ole surfing the net. On one screen is my workspace and the other has all my tools for the program I am using. Makes life a whole lot easier. 1 – Samsung SyncMaster 22″ LCD (my main monitor, set up in a 1680×1050 resolution) and 1 – 20″ Samsung SyncMaster LCD (set up in a 1600×1200 resolution) and 1 – Coolermaster C690 Gaming case with a Antec 550watt power supply, Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit edition (yes 64Bit, meaning using the full potential of the processor the way it was designed to be used and up to 128Gb of memory, about 98% of the average desktop user is running 32bit and the max memory you could ever use is 4gb =O, a Linksys Gigabit Wireless N Router networked to my pc @ 1Gbs (10xfaster than 100Mbs) internet connection, external SATAII 500Gb Hard drive connected to my gigabyte router setup for media storage and backups…………..that’s it!!!!! I know, I know……….. Its definitely a geek thing.
Please feel free to contact us at anytime via email or phone, remember, there is no such thing as a stupid question.
Thanking you again,
